CUSTOMER SERVICE/FRONT DESK POSITION AVAILABLE

This is your chance to work with a fast-growing and progressive company striving to be the best provider of welfare for homeless animals.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented position. The majority of the work day will be spent answering customer concerns and needs through the phone as well as in person. This position will also require daily input of shelter animal information into an internet database, as well as inputting daily activity reports into an Excel spreadsheet. This position will also entail keeping public areas clean as well as caring for office animals. The office personnel will also be expected to handle animals of varying temperaments.

QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in customer service and office management. Must be able to work with Excel and Word programs and the internet. Must have excellent personal management skills and be self motivated. Must be able to handle customers in a calm and professional manner. Must possess good organizational and phone skills. Must possess a basic knowledge of animal types and handling. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

This is a full time, hourly position with pay to be negotiated based upon prior experience. Schedules will be semi-regular and must meet the needs of the shelter’s operating hours.
